New year, new art! Let’s take a look at what our creative community has come up with since the Wintersday extravaganza. As always, we can’t share every amazing piece, so head over to our official Tumblr to see even more.

Artist eyristhesylvari shared a happy image of their end-of-year celebrations and, incidentally, wraps up an ambitious and successful year-long art project, as well.

Here’s a take on Guild Wars 2 you don’t see every day: an asura portrait with a retro vibe, as composed by akkeeartist.

Artist murdrymous created this image of Mryanna based on the concept art for the mirage.

Here is a ranger named Annie as presented by mimetka. Love that bow!

This colorful and charming portrait of a sylvari and Zommoros is by pyreo.

I hope you enjoyed seeing these compositions as much as we enjoyed presenting them. It’s always a thrill to show off some of the amazing works of art and imagination that players from around the world create and share with us.

Our next Community Showcase Live livestream will air in February. You might recall that the February livestream often features quite a good bit of art about love, friendships, guilds, and other ways in which we relate to one another. With that in mind, consider creating art on that general theme and sharing it on Tumblr or the forums! For inspiration, you can watch our Friend/Ships CSL from last year. And more recently, I’m sure you’ll enjoy our Wintersday show, too.

Any time of year, if you’re an artist, crafter, or maker of Guild Wars 2–related creations of any kind—from visual art to videos, music to plushies, and everything in between—we would love you to share it on the official Guild Wars 2 Tumblr (easy submission guidelines here) or in our official Community Creations subforum.
