I love the site, but little or no tooltips means I can't use it on my iPhone very effectively.

Yeah, touch interfaces unfortunately don't have a good way of handling tooltips on clickable interfaces. Getting a touch version of the site is something we'd like to do eventually but it would require a new design.

There might be some things I could do to make it a little more functional on touch though, so I'll check it out when I get home.

It looks like it works on android if you click and hold to get the tooltip, but if I recall, that only worked on non-clickable things on ios. I'll check it out on my wife's phone when I get home though

Thanks for quick replies!

To clarify, I have had the tooltips work a few times, but usually not. I'll keep fiddling to see if I can find the trick to it.

Looks like I had it backwards -- IOS safari lets you bring up a tooltip for any element on our site that does something when clicked (you touch it once to get the tooltip, then a second time to actually click it), but there doesn't appear to be any way to bring up the tooltip for elements that don't do anything when you click them (like weapon skills on the calc or nearly everything on the guides).

On android, you can bring up the tooltips for anything by clicking and holding for a second or so.

I'll see if I can find out anything else about what IOS needs in order to work for this.
