After playing with multiple different groups this weekend, some of them much better than I, I learned alot. One of the major things is to learn when to stomp properly, and when to let them bleed out.
There are 20 second intervals of rez timers, and if you stomp at 58, 38, or 18, you'll get them a full 20 second rez. So if you are 1v1 node holding and you win, (i.e nobody else is going to come and put you in danger) Then let him bleed out until the timer ( or as close to the timer) as possible.
If you are 2v1ing at mid and you kill 2 people, stomp 1 and let the other bleed out. It's a strategy used to keep people out of the game for as long as possible, giving you an easier time to recap a node you lost, or to cap a new one, if you need it.
Just some food for thought.

Im guessing the 2v1 stompand bleed is so you dont get 2 people back in at the same time?

for instance. We have 2 people at keep. it was a 1v1 but we called a roamer over becuase we didnt want to lose. We 2v1 the guy and kill him. The longer you let him bleed out the longer he is out of the game.

Right. You said you killed 2 though. Stomp 1, bleed 1, see my previous comment

Except if they're downed on the node itself. Even in their downed state, they'll keep the point contested.
